Alternatively, there are excellent "Vermentini" from nearby Lunigiana, now rediscovered, which are well adapted to accompany the aromatic fish dishes.
For dessert we recommend the famous "Sciacchetra", a dessert wine produced in small quantity, requiring patient, careful work by local winemakers.
